2008 Other SLUG Events

We have several fun runs each year and all are welcome to attend. Also, we're always looking for volunteers to help out at our races and we're co-adopting a section of the Berryman Trail to maintain. If you have a desire to volunteer, please contact the SLUG RD mailbox. Your volunteer efforts help us put on premier events, as well as giving a bit back to the running and trail community. Thanks!!!

Times and other details will be added as the dates get a little closer. Other events may be added as well. Distances are not listed as they're usually determined on the day of based on how chipper folks are feeling. If you need directions or have questions, click on the run leader (once it's posted) to send him or her an email.

Want to become a SLUG?

Well, what are you waiting for? The SLUGs are by far the friendliest group of ultra folks in the Midwest. Whether you're thinking about running your very first ultra or you're a hardcore veteran, we have training runs for all abilities. We also host two of the finest trail ultras in the Midwest and will also be hosting a third "road" ultra for you flatlanders out there as well as a freaky road marathon and 50K in the Fall! The SLUGs are members of the Road Runners Club of America. Come join us, but leave your salt at home.
